Learn how simple it is to propagate various houseplants! From spider plants, to snake plants, string of hearts, african violets, pothos, and more -- we'll learn the various ways of cutting, rooting, and transplanting a variety of houseplants to take home and nurture.  It's a potluck of plants!

Join us outside in the park and make a family clay masterpiece!  Work together to create an assortment of holiday ornaments. Learn slab, coil, and texture techniques and paint your projects with colorful underglazes. These outdoor clay classes are small-group, socially-distanced experiences with no shared materials.  A fun and low risk way to spend time together!

Join us outside in the park for gently guided nature walks as we investigate the forests and fields at Annmarie. Led by Hester, our staff naturalist, these walks will be lightly themed, but will allow children to investigate and discover all kinds of wonders. The conversation will be guided by whatever we find together! Dress appropriately for the weather and wear shoes that can get muddy.

Join visiting batik artist, Eric Jackson, on select days in the park to contribute to a giant batik banner installation!  Learn how to wax and dye fabrics in layers to achieve bold, brilliant designs.

Join us outside for a lightly guided upcycled art project!  We'll guide 10 family groups through a step by step project, while being properly distanced, outdoors, and providing individual tool kits to eliminate shared materials.  A great way to customize your family visit to Annmarie.  Pack a picnic, search for fairy houses, and stay and play afterwards.
