In the Garden

The Sculpture Garden at Annmarie spans 50 acres of gardens, open spaces, and peaceful forested walking trails along the shores of St. John’s Creek. A paved pathway winds through the landscape, providing a tranquil setting for an impressive collection of outdoor sculpture, including works on long-term loan from the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden and the National Gallery of Art.

Visitors are invited to explore at their own pace while enjoying seasonal blooms, butterfly and pollinator gardens, woodland paths, the Women’s Walk, and other hidden surprises along the way. Throughout the year, the garden offers ever-changing natural beauty alongside art in a serene outdoor setting.

Families with young children will enjoy discovering the whimsical Fairy Lolly and its enchanting natural play spaces, adding a touch of imagination to every visit. Whether you’re here for a leisurely walk, artistic inspiration, or a quiet moment in nature, the Sculpture Garden offers something to enjoy in every season.
