Great for beginners-- join us as we explore the basics of basketry and weave a reed basket that measures 10"H x 6.5"W x 6"D.  Learn to start from a solid base and practice basic weaving techniques as you create a basket that has a woven Shaker tape hanger perfect for hanging from a doorknob or wall.  Various color choices will make your basket unique.  A fun and easy way to get started in the world of basketry!

This class is great for all levels of weavers.  This oblong basket measures approximately 11"L x 3"H.  Learn to weave from a pre-finished wooden base with attached handle.  Explore basic over/under weaving.  Use accent reed colors to make it unique. A fun easy-going afternoon that yields wonderful results!

Grab your spouse, a friend, or your son or daughter and join us for a Raku Party!  Learn about this unique and dramatic firing process as you glaze two bisque tiles and a small platter, then help fire them in a pit outside.  Each couple comes away with three completed pieces.  Adult couples or parent/child couples welcome.  Children must be 8-up and must be accompanied by an adult.
