Public Art Projects
Free Summer Project for All Ages

Each summer, Annmarie Garden invites the public to participate in an art project designed for all ages and abilities. Visitors can stop by any day throughout the summer and lend their creativity to an artwork. The final components are assembled and installed by staff and volunteers, then displayed at the Garden from September to December. It remains installed through Artsfest and Halloween, allowing over 20,000 visitors to experience the art. Due to the generous donations of local sponsors, these projects are always free, and return visits are welcome!

Summer Project 2008: STICK TOGETHER

This summer visitors can transform a stick, twig or branch into a colorful pice of art with twine, shells, feathers and other natural materials and place their creations among an ever-growing sepentine earthwork throughout the loblolly forest. The public art project will kick off on the opening weekend and run through the summer.
