The Arts Building also boasts a lovely gift shop and café.

If you group includes children, be sure to stop in at the Arts Building and ask about the hands-on activities that accompany the exhibits. Most exhibits at AMG include kid-friendly elements. Children will also enjoy one of the fun Scavenger Hunts that encourage children to engage in, and study, art and naturet.

Summer Activities: From June to August, we invite visitors to participate in the Summer Public Art Project. These unsual installations, all built by visitors, typically incorporate recycled materials and always provoke interesting conversations and observations. In July, take your best shot (photo, that is) of Annmarie Garden and submit it to the Summer Fun Photo Contest. The winning photo will be used as an Annmarie Garden bookmark. August brings the Sidewalk Chalk-a-thon, during which visitors can check out chalk from the visitors center and use their artistic ability to decorate our pavement - and compete for prizes! Watch our Events Calendar to know when these and other fun events will be happening!
